I was born in Sydney in 1966. I knew I wanted to be an artist by age 10 and motivated by my love of the Australian Bush moved to the Blue mountains as a young adult where I still reside today. I work across mediums of painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture and draw inspiration from nature, science and whimsy. Formally trained in Fine arts at Meadowbank TAFE and Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts I have painted Murals professionally in my own business since 1989. I have won many awards and scholarships for my art, most recently at international Mural fest where I came runner up and in 2021 when I won the National emerging artist prize for ceramics. I represented Australia in China where I painted a Mural alongside 90 other international artists at Hua Quan Artist Village in 2017 and I have work in the printmaking collection at the Art Gallery of NSW and The National Gallery of Australia .
I have often said, you don’t choose to be an Artist you more, come to terms with it! I am lucky to be able to create every day, often working on several projects at a time. It is a privallege to be able to help others turn their thoughts into art via Murals, canvas paintings or ceramics.
